Meeple Guild is an app for planning board-game nights and keeping track of the games you own, the plays you log, and the people you play with. Using it means agreeing to what follows. It is short, and it means what it says.

Your account
You need an account to use Meeple Guild, you must be 13 or older to have one, and the details you give should be true. Keep your password to yourself — anything done with your account is treated as done by you. Tell us if you think someone else has got in.
Using it decently
Don't use Meeple Guild to:
- harass, threaten, impersonate, or stalk anyone
- post content that is unlawful, hateful, or sexually explicit
- add people who wouldn't want to be there, or use someone's contact details for anything other than inviting them to play
- break into, overload, scrape, or reverse-engineer the service, or hammer our servers with automated requests
- resell or redistribute the app or the data of other players
Meeple Guild gives you tools for the rest: you can block someone, and you decide who sees your collection.
What you put in
Your collection, plays, notes, group names, and photos of nothing in particular remain yours. We don't claim ownership. You give us only the permission we need to run the service — to store your content, show it to the people you have chosen to share it with, and back it up. That permission ends when you delete the content or your account, except where the content sits inside another person's record (see the privacy policy).
Only post what you have the right to post, and remember that anything shared with a group or a game night is visible to the people in it.
Other people's games and data
Game titles, cover art, and publisher names belong to their publishers. Meeple Guild sits beside BoardGameGeek rather than replacing it, and is not affiliated with or endorsed by BoardGameGeek or any publisher.
No warranty
Meeple Guild is provided as it is, and as it happens to be available. It is a small independent app: it may be unavailable, may lose a feature, and may contain bugs. We don't promise it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose, and we don't guarantee that a suggestion it makes is the right game for your table. Export your data if it matters to you — the app makes that a one-tap job.
Limits on liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Meeple Guild is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost data or lost profits, or for anything that happens between you and the other people you play with. Where liability can't be excluded, it is limited to the amount you have paid us in the past twelve months — which, on the free tier, is nothing. Nothing here limits liability for fraud, or for anything else that can't lawfully be limited.
Ending it
You can leave whenever you like: delete your account from Settings, or see Delete your account. Deletion is immediate and permanent.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, or that puts other people or the service at risk. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will say why first.
Changes
These terms may change as the app does. Material changes will be announced in the app before they take effect, and continuing to use Meeple Guild after that means the new terms apply.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of [STATE], United States, and any dispute belongs to the courts there. If a part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still stands.
