Delete your Meeple Guild account
You can delete your Meeple Guild account and its data yourself, from inside the app. If you can't sign in — or you no longer have the app installed — email us and we'll do it for you. Either way it is permanent: there is no hold period and no way to restore an account once it is deleted.
In the app (fastest)
- Open Meeple Guild and go to Settings.
- Under Account, tap Delete account.
- Read what will be removed, then type DELETE to confirm you mean it.
- Tap Delete account in the confirmation, and you're signed out. Everything on the device is cleared too.
Want a copy of your data first? Settings › Your data exports your collection and your play history as CSV files. Do that before deleting — afterwards there is nothing left to export.
By email (no app needed)
Write to [email protected] from the email address on the account, with the subject "Delete my Meeple Guild account". Include the email address the account uses, and your display name or handle if you know it.
We reply from that address to confirm the request is really yours before anything is deleted, and we will never ask you for your password. Requests are completed within 30 days, normally much sooner.
What deletion removes
- Your profile, sign-in credentials, and settings
- Your game collection and your sleeve records
- The plays you logged and the game nights you organized
- Your groups, friend connections, and the people you manage
- Your RSVPs to game nights that haven't happened yet
What stays, without your name on it
Plays that other people logged, and past game nights other people hosted, are their records — deleting your account doesn't rewrite their history. Where you appear in them, you become "Deleted player": the link to your account is removed and nothing in the row identifies you.
BoardGameGeek
Meeple Guild never stores your BoardGameGeek password, and deleting your Meeple Guild account doesn't touch anything on BoardGameGeek. To remove data there, use BGG's own account settings.
