End-user license agreement
This license covers the Meeple Guild app installed on your device. The service the app talks to is covered by the terms of use, and what happens to your data by the privacy policy. Like both of those, this is short and means what it says.

Who you're agreeing with
This agreement is between you and Tyler Miller, the independent developer of Meeple Guild — not with Apple or Google. Apple and Google are not responsible for the app or its content, and they owe you no maintenance or support for it; that responsibility is ours alone.
The license
You get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the Meeple Guild app on devices you own or control, as the rules of the store you got it from allow. For apps from the Apple App Store, that includes use on devices tied to your account through Family Sharing where Apple permits it.
What the license doesn't allow
- copying, modifying, or making derivative works of the app
- reverse-engineering, decompiling, or extracting the app's source, except where the law says we can't stop you
- renting, reselling, sublicensing, or redistributing the app
- removing or hiding any ownership or credit notices
- using the app unlawfully, or to build a competing dataset from other players' data
Updates and support
We provide updates and support for Meeple Guild on a best-effort basis — it is an independent app, and [email protected] is the way to reach us. Apple and Google have no obligation to provide any support or maintenance for the app.
If something's wrong
The app is provided as it is, without warranty, to the fullest extent the law allows — the terms of use say this in full and the same limits on liability apply here. One store-specific addition: if you got the app from the Apple App Store and it fails to conform to a warranty that the law won't let us disclaim, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund what you paid for the app; beyond that refund, Apple has no other warranty obligation for it, and anything further is between you and us.
Claims about the app
We — not Apple or Google — are responsible for addressing any claim relating to the app or your use of it, including product-liability claims, claims that the app fails to meet a legal or regulatory requirement, and consumer-protection or similar claims.
Intellectual property
The app, the Meeple Guild name, and its artwork belong to Tyler Miller. Game titles, cover art, and publisher names belong to their publishers, and BoardGameGeek data comes from BoardGameGeek — Meeple Guild is affiliated with neither. If someone claims the app itself infringes their intellectual property, we — not Apple or Google — are responsible for investigating, defending, and resolving that claim.
Legal compliance
You confirm that you are not in a country subject to a U.S. government embargo or designated a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not on any U.S. government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
Third-party terms
Some features touch other people's services — importing a collection reads BoardGameGeek's public API, for example. You agree to respect the applicable third-party terms when you use those features.
Apple as third-party beneficiary
For copies of the app from the Apple App Store: Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this agreement, and once you accept it, Apple has the right to enforce it against you.
Ending it
This license ends automatically if you break its terms. You can end it any time by deleting the app. Ending the license doesn't touch your account or your data — those live in the service, under the terms and privacy policy.
Governing law
This agreement is governed by the laws of Texas, United States, and any dispute belongs to the state or federal courts serving Ellis County, Texas. If a part of it turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still stands.
